The team’s biggest challenge from this year: They could not do project visits with the entire team, only a few members were selected to participate in projects visits, usually less than 5 members.

The team’s proudest moment of the year: They are proud of their hard work and determination and how the team remained positive during these hard times in the country.

Get to know us

Mabada Faranani is passionate about improving the standard of living in rural communities through Educational Programs and Entrepreneurial actions. He has gained self-confidence and vision to inspire others through extra curriculum activities from student organizations such as Legal Ambassadors Scheme, Enactus, and Black Management Forum. He is currently studying towards his Honours Degree in Hydrology and Water Resources.

Best Enactus moment: Every moment doing Enactus activities whether it involves learning, research, and networking was a great experience for him. However, one that stands out is the 2019 National Competitions when his team was rewarded and recognized for the effort it did to transform people’s lives…

Who inspires me: He is inspired by Dorothy Height and his quote that says: ‘Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life’. This always drives him to develop himself and those around him.

In five years, I will be… “a recognized Hydrologist with entrepreneurial and life changing projects.”


Mkateko Ngobeni is honest, committed and passionate about equality of life for everyone. She joined the team in 2019.

Best Enactus moment: This was at the Exhibition at Thavhani Mall in November 2019.

Who inspires me: Lupita Nyong’o

In five years, I will be… “pursuing my masters in BCOM Economics.”
