Enactus – GE Global Lean Challenge

Enactus – GE Global Lean Challenge is a unique project-based learning opportunity, where students master lean and design thinking concepts, and then engage with local GE plants to identify innovate solutions to pre identified problem statements.

Transforming our Competitions to an Online Experience

As a result of the global health crisis, we’ve pivoted our Enactus South Africa Competitions to a completely online format, featuring many of the in-person event elements, including competition, project and team feedback, recognition of accomplishments, and the crowning of one champion team that will represent the country at the Enactus – GE Global Lean Challenge Competition, competing against three (3) other nations in Brazil, China, and India.
It is important that teams do not continue projects at the risk of their own health and the community.

All Enactus teams around the world are facing the same situation and it is understood that projects have been disrupted, teams have been dispersed, and presentations will be completely for this competition. We have advised teams that they should consider how to communicate in the most effective way they can. It is most important to enter and share projects online and to be recognized for the good work in progress by the Enactus network.

AWARD CEREMONY

The Award ceremony will be available to the public to view. Viewers can tune in to watch any or all of our streamed content. In addition to competition, we will host award ceremonies to recognize teams, students, and supporters. Join us to experience the Enactus – GE Global Lean Challenge online.
